Congratulations
Congratulations to all children who have recently received an ICARES values card. It is amazing to see our ICARES values in action and it gives us a great sense of pride that we are living our school values. Also well done to many of our seniors showing good role modeling for our children.

Sierra – Respect, for picking up sports equipment.
Mason – Integrity, moving out of the way when people were walking pass.
Hollie – Integrity, playing nicely in the sandpit at lunchtime.
Jade, Emerson – respect, playing quietly when other people were being loud.
Antalya – respect, always being respectful of others learning, waiting patiently, asking thoughtful questions.
Quinn – challenge, giving everything a go at athletics!
Emerson – encourage, for being an amazing sportsperson! When unexpectedly beaten at high jump, she held her head high and genuinely congratulated her fellow competitor.
Lakaia – integrity, being a self-manager, getting on with the task, asking questions if she is unsure.
Tayla – integrity, allowing her writing to be shared with the class too. Very humble Ka pai!
Eva – respect, for playing with Sierra.
Jane – respect, for helping by getting water to take to the sandpit for anyone who needs it.
Marley – respect, letting people play with her.
Miss I’Anson – integrity, for teaching the school all the Jump Jam songs.

Filimone – integrity, letting Quinn join his game.
Micah – ambition, for setting up capture the flag.
Antalya – respect, for giving someone else her towel when they didn’t have one.
Eloise – respect, for cleaning up dirt on the floor of Maungaturoto.

Indie – respect, for playing nicely.
Izaiah – integrity, thank you for helping me to do some long jump at lunchtime.

Endurance Room – respect, working well as a class. Doing the task and being a group of team players.

Discovery Room – ICARES, for showing student agency through ‘must do’ and ‘can do’ activities.
