Kia ora koutou katoa,
The great start back in alert 2 has continued for our children and I am very pleased to see the positive interactions shown by all. A great example of this happening is during our buddy reading time where an older and younger child pair up to read to each other. Also during break times the activities and games our children play are fantastic to see. Keep up the great work Tahuna Children!
I have had the pleasure of teaching in Endeavour, Endurance and Maungaturoto recently. It’s always fantastic to have this opportunity to see how our children are progressing with their learning and to see the many great learning opportunities our teachers provide for their classrooms.
RSE
We have had many opt in/opt out forms returned to our office and it is greatly appreciated. The forms need to be returned to school by Friday to allow our teachers to work through the next phase of planning. If you need another form please let us know asap.
Livestock Day
Our annual event is always a highlight of our school calendar and hearing the many children who talk so proudly about their animals is awesome!
Registrations for livestock day are due by Friday the 24th September. Please fill in the form on schoolstream or the attached form in the newsletter below.
Hockey
Hopefully the weather gets better today and our teams are in action today and tomorrow. Good luck Tahuna teams and show that great team spirit!
Talent Quest
Just a reminder the date for talent quest has been moved to Thursday the 30th September. Thanks to those children who have entered. Entries are now closed. Good luck to our children who have entered and enjoy the last week of practising/rehearsing. You will all do well!
